HP Changes: Anthem Film

The thing I was immediately drawn to with this film was the challenge of it. We’re essentially telling a story about human creativity, and we have to do that in the most visually creative way possible. From the get-go that’s a hill I want to climb. That’s fun. But beyond that, I genuinely love the idea of depicting an artist/craftsman’s creative process in visual terms – in real-time. Seeing them act and react, rewrite and re-jig their imagination fluidly based on the feedback flow. The analogy that immediately came to mind for me was that of a musician or an orchestral conductor, moving effortlessly through a jam session - because he’s one with his instrument.
